Hello everyone ! I’m Paula García Medina, a student from the double degree of Primary Education and English Studies at the University of Málaga. This blog has been specially created for the subject Didactics of Geometry . What I expect from this course is to learn how to teach geometry to children in a more manipulative and visual way, through games and interactive activities. As a student, I was mainly taught through information and explanations from the textbook and doing repetitive activities that sometimes were not practical or useful enough. One of the aims of this blog is to share ideas to help me and other future teachers to develop knowledge, skills and methods to teach this subject in a more manipulative and practical way, taking into account geometry that we can find in our daily lives.
